There are some emails that you send and don’t want just anyone to access. This Section will teach you how to make your emails expire after a certain date and only accessable by password.

  1. Left Click the compose button on the top left of the window

  2. On the bottom row of icons in the message window, Left Click the padlock with a timer icon

    • NOTE: If confidential mode is already on, Left Click Edit in the bottom right corner of the message window instead
  3. Set a date for the email to expire by Left Clicking Expires in 1 week and Left Clicking one of the options avalible

  4. Set a passcode option by Left Clicking No SMS passcode or SMS passcode

    • NOTE: No SMS passcode will allow gmail users to open directly or will email passcode for non-Gmail users

    • NOTE: SMS passcode will send a passcode to the recipient by text

  5. Left Click Save in the bottom right of the configuration menu

  6. After completing you message Left Click Send

    • NOTE: if SMS passcode was selected a window will pop up asking for a phone number. Enter the RECIPIENT’S phone number and NOT the SENDER’S.

By doing this the email sent will be locked behind a password and will expire after the date you set it to expire. This process will only activate confidential mode for that email, so you will need to do this everytime you want to send a confidential email.
